About ABAaccess

ABAaccess is a parent-built tool that crowdsources real wait times for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy across the United States. Providers rarely publish what their actual waitlists look like — we let families fill that gap.

How it works

  1. Parents submit a short anonymous report — provider, location, when they joined the waitlist, and when (or if) services began.
  2. We compute the wait time in weeks, then aggregate by provider and location.
  3. The directory shows the mean and range so a single outlier doesn't skew the number.

How averages are calculated

For each provider we display the mean wait time as the headline number, plus the median and range for context. A small confidence indicator reflects how many reports back the average — three is okay, ten is solid.

A few honest disclaimers

  • Wait times are self-reported and not independently verified.
  • ABAaccess is not affiliated with any ABA provider.
  • This is a tool for comparison, not a substitute for talking to a provider's intake team.

Why you need an account

Submitting a report or review requires a free account. It keeps the data trustworthy, lets us credit your contribution as First L. (last names stay private), and powers your share link so you can rally other parents — and earn points and badges while you're at it. See the leaderboard.

Privacy

We use your email only for account sign-in and notifications. Public credit on reports and reviews shows your first name and the initial of your last name — nothing more. Please don't include identifying details about your child in submissions.
